About us

At times when it seems that reason has abandoned us, our goal is to bring a little science to lay people, without the need for a doctorate or equivalent. I see no other way to separate the false from the real.

This book may have become too politicized, and for those who hate politics, this may be uncomfortable. It is estimated that Bolsonaro's voters, the grassroots ones who never change their convictions, make up around 10% of the population. For these people, this book may not be healthy. I think of the 30% that some estimate are not true Bolsonaro supporters, where reason can help them navigate better in this world drowning in fake news; who knows, it might help some people realize the sea of lies that surrounds the Bolsonaro group, and the danger to the functioning of intellectual autonomy. For Lula's voters, over 50%, this book may give them an orgasm, but that is not its primary objective.

The primary goal is to try to think about politics as rationally as possible. And in general, to think about reality as rationally as possible. Fake news is not specific to politics, nor to these elections. For example, fake news was circulating at the beginning and during the pandemic, many harmless, but still false.

It's science time!
